I am currently writing my Bachelor thesis in NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden. Ever Since I have discovered my passion for chemistry science, I wanted to deepen my knowledge and obtain new skills. During the years spend studying Chemistry Engineering, I believe that Chromatography, Microscopy, Environmental Chemistry, Molecular biology was main topics I feel passionate about. My field of interest varies between biotechnologies on how could we use nature to create more sustainable solutions for society, pharmaceutical effects of plants research, water treatment and analysis, bioplastics and textile recycling. As I will be graduating this summer, I am looking for career opportunities. My goal is to improve well-being of people by implementing sustainable and natural solutions by using science and knowledge. Finding solutions for Environmental Chemistry will always be my interest, and my motivation that we must leave this world better than we found it. I believe that my personal qualities which include structural thinking, problem approaching, motivation to learn and hard- working would be beneficial in water technology field.

I have done minor research in the Marine Biobased Specialties group, where I am developed a sustainable solid shampoo bar with algae oil extract. I have developed protocols for fatty acid sample preparation and analysis for gas chromatography and analyzed different extraction methods for several species, together with the shampoo formulation and its property assesment.

I have performed internship in analyzing adsorption and abiotic degradation mechanisms for various micropollutants, such as benzotriazoles, gabapentin, irbesartan and sotalol by performing kinetic experiments, LC-OCD analysis, BET analysis, flow cytometry

Currently, I am working with method development for automated textile chemical analysis for sorting and recycling processes. I am using ATR, NIRA, hyperspectral camera and microscopy in order to establish patterns in the analysis and find chemical descriptions.
