an engineer or a junior project manager

I am a recent graduate who loves sustainability and fluid dynamics. I find the Netherlands fascinating due to its symbiotic nature to water. As an engineer, it is my goal to increase sustainability and the world.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, playing sports, and learning Dutch.

Educations

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique MontrĂ©al (Canada) (including the equivalent of one year in a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Concentration in fluid mechanics and energy

Courses

Notable courses :

Introduction to programming I and II (Matlab)
Material science I and II
Vibration
Thermodynamics and heat transfer
Hydraulic systems
Pumping, ventilation, and compression systems
Finite element method applied to thermofluids
Turbulence : Theory and application

Latest work experience

Hull profile design project for a human propelled submarine for a university technical club.

The project consisted of the design of a hull profile for a new submarine following restrictions in dimension, and performance.
The project was undertaken by using CFD to calculate the efficiency of the hull’s profile through its movement in the water.

Other notable work experiences are the creation of an eddy identification program for the Turbulence: theory and application course, the design of a sustainable apartment complex as a bachelor’s final project, and the comparative analysis of the emissions and economics of a nuclear power plant and a gas power plant.
These projects are notable due to their high level of problem-solving required to complete them and their data-intensity
