EIP and Mayors Conference in Leeuwarden: registration open

In February 2016, two conferences, assigned by The European Commission, will take place in Leeuwarden. The 3rd EIP Water Conference will foster innovation in the European water sector by showcasing the experience of innovators and the lessons they have learnt. The conference will give inspiring ideas, discuss a variety of outspoken and conflicting viewpoints about the “right” approach for innovation, and help nurture and establish partnerships. This Conference will take place on February 10 and will be opened by the Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment, Melanie Schultz van Haegen. More information and registration.

On February 11, European mayors will gather in Leeuwarden. Karmenu Vella, European Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries invites European mayors and water experts for an agenda setting event for water in the urban environment. Next to mayors, representatives of regions, communities, waterboards, drinking water companies water research institutes and other water experts are most welcome to participate in the conference. Information and registration.
