Business Development Course 2021 (day 3)

The aim of Wetsus is the development of talents and ideas, resulting in breakthrough technologies with high social impact. There is no doubt that our researchers and professionals are key to creating these breakthrough technologies. However, an invention can only become an innovation when it is successfully applied and actually contributing in solving complex world water problems. Only then we can make real impact on society and science. To achieve this we teach researchers and professionals to translate their research results into solutions that can be valorized. The Business Development Course is exactly focused on reaching this result.
Find your co-founder? We all know that we can create the highest impact by bringing people together with complementary knowledge and experience. That is why we set-up a cooperation with the master program Sustainable Entrepreneurship from the Campus Fryslân (University of Groningen). These students know all about knowledge-valorisation and setting up (circular) business models. How great for them if they can work with a concrete case! During the Business Development Course we will connect the researchers and professionals with the students from Sustainable Entrepreneurship.  How great would it be if the is the start of a future cooperation. Please connect with Ronald Wielinga for more information about the program.

12th European symposium on electrochemical engineering

All around us we can see the rapid electrification of our society, changing how we recover valuable resources in a more sustainable way, make chemical products, store energy, provide energy to our houses, and go from place to place. Increasingly we move from molecular building blocks and processes towards a world where the electron is the carrier of energy and information, and is the key building block to create new materials.
It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 12th European Symposium on Electrochemical Engineering (ESEE 2021). This international scientific conference will be held on June 13-17, 2021, in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. The scope of ESEE 2021 is “Electrochemistry for electrification and energy transition toward a sustainable future”, which captures our aim to showcase scientific advances in physical, chemical and biochemical routes towards a future where electrochemical engineering is part of a sustainable society, closing resource cycles and contributing to zero-pollution mobility and manufacturing.
The ESEE 2021 will be a hybrid conference with live streaming of all sessions for registered participants. All presenting authors are expected to physically attend the event. In the case of pandemic constraints, the conference will be fully held online.
